This program is exclusively for approved YEDA shows to allow first time team, riders, and coach that would like to experience YEDA without a full commitment of membership. A discounted team membership of $25, coach membership $10 and individual membership of $10. For more information please download the Try It Membership Program Guidelines.

Teams and riders need to use above membership forms and include these membership forms with your show entries.
Include your Try It Membership fee with your entries and the show management will send this to YEDA Home office.
Coaches, Teams, and Riders have 30 days from the date of the Try It Show to upgrade to a regular membership. If they choose to do this their Try It membership fee will be applied to their total membership cost.

YEDA National Championship Invitational

YEDA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP INVITATIONAL

The YEDA National Championship Invitational gives student/riders nationwide the opportunity to qualify for the YEDA National Championship Show.

An invitation to compete will be offered to the highest ranked rider in each class from each state that they are not already qualified for nationals.
The winner of each individual class at the invitational will be allowed to compete on Saturday April 27, 2019 as an individual at the YEDA National Championship show.
The student rider must be residing and attending school in the state they qualified as an individual student rider and be in good standing with YEDA.
The student rider can be a member of any team located in any state and be in good standing. The rider’s home address will be used to determine their qualifying state.
Invitations will be sent out via email to both the rider and their coach the first week of April, 2019. The rider and coach will have 48 hours to accept the invitation or pass it along to the next highest ranked rider from the state which they reside.
Entry fees will be $70 per class
Coaches must either bring horses to cover their rides for the invitational or pay the $20 rented ride fee.
The winner of each invitational class will be entered as an individual in the corresponding class at the National Championship show on Saturday April 27, 2019 for the entry fee of $50.
For the advancing riders the rented ride fee of $20 still applies if their coach did not bring horses to be used in Saturdays show.
All YEDA rules and regulations apply to the invitational as they would the National Championship show.
The invitational will be judged by one qualified judge not judging the YEDA National Championship Show.
The National Steward will make any ruling on extenuating circumstances to do with student rider qualifications

Ranch Riding Clinic with Mr. Clark Bradley

Friday, December 7, 2018 Ranch Riding Clinic:

Friday, December 7th at 7:30 pm before the YEDA ‘Twas the Show Before Christmas show there will be a Ranch Riding clinic with NRHA/AQHA professional horse trainer and University of Findlay Western Equestrian Program Instructor, Clark Bradley. Mr. Bradley had over 50 years of training experience and has been teaching at the University of Findlay for 30 years. He had judged and conducted clinics all over the world, and coached the University of Findlay IHSA Western Equestrian Team to 6 National Championship Titles! He has extensive experience in Reining and Ranch Riding with Congress Champion and Reservice Championship titles, and AQHA World Championship Top Ten in the Ranch Riding Finals.

The clinic is free and open to all. The clinic will focus on the YEDA’s new class Ranch Riding with UF college students riding the patterns while Mr. Bradley discusses them. You do not want to miss this! We are going to offer a paid meal (pizza) option for the Clinic.

Those who are bringing horses, we can not move into to Findlay until 5 pm, because their finals horse show for the University of Findlay is on Friday. So we have to allow the University of Findlay to complete their classes before we can move in. Also, horses in the “send your horse to college program” will be leaving on Friday and those are the stalls that we will be using, so we have to give those horses time to move out. The clinic starts at 7:30 pm. We recognize that this is a small window of time to take care of everything and get dinner. So we are working with a local pizza place to provide pizza.

NSBA Team Championship Show August 18 – 19 . Form Updated Due July 21st

ALL YEDA COACHES & RIDERS ARE INVITED

NSBA is having a Team Championship Show from August 18-19,2018 at the NSBA WORLD SHOW in Tulsa, OK

YEDA coaches and riders are invited. If a rider wants to show and their coach cannot go we will have a team for you to participate with. Awesome awards and money will be given away at the show.
