There will be two fundraisers for the Scholarship Incentive Fund at Nationals.
1. The first will be a raffle for a year’s worth of YEDA entry fees. The winner will be drawn on Sunday, April 29th at the YEDA National Show. The winning ticket entitles the bearer to 20 free YEDA classes for the 2018-19 show season. The tickets prices are $10 each, 3 for $25 or 5 for $40. Tickets can be purchased now or at the National Show. The winner does not need to be present. Tickets can be purchased at Nationals or through the attached order from. SIF Raffle Ticket Order Form
2. The second fundraiser will be a COACHES WALK TROT HORSEMANSHIP CLASS to be held during the lunch break on Sunday at YEDA Nationals.
Rules are as follows:
a. Each team can enter one coach
b. No entry fee
c. Coach gets to pick of their horse
d. It will be run Calcutta Style. Each coach entry will be auctioned prior to the start of the class. At the conclusion of the class, the winning coaches highest bidder will win 50% of the total take. The remaining 50% will be donated to the Scholarship Incentive Fund.
e. It will be judged by Saturday’s High Point Riders

When: Friday Evening, Feb 23 @ 7:30 pm Where: WB Ranch
The clinic will be presented by Marcia Hignett, professional reining trainer and will walk riders through the best way to layout YEDA reining patterns. Food Booth will be available for snacks and a light meal.

Lead Line
Saturday @ the Lunch Break close to 12:00 pm
$20 per child, the money will go towards the SIF. The child will need to have long pants, long sleeve shirt (doesn’t have to be a YEDA shirt,) a hat or helmet, and a healed shoe/boot. The leader needs to be a knowledgeable horseman who is in high school or is an adult.
Metals and prizes will be awarded to all participants. The judges will be the High Point and Reserve High Point Riders from the High School.
Patterns:
ON SATURDAY: Pattern #10 will be used for the Senior and Junior High Sapphire, Ruby Classes, Emerald, Opal, and Elementary Pearl classes. Pattern #10 will be used for Diamond Pattern/ Rail horsemanship class and Pattern NRHA 10 will be used for the diamond reining. Pattern #11 will be used for the Diamond Elite class.
