Points are awarded based on placement and number of riders in the class. A Rider placing 1st will be awarded 1 point for each rider in the class with a maximum of 6 points. A rider placing 2nd will be awarded 1 point for each rider in the class, minus 1 with a maximum of 5 points. A rider placing 3rd will be awarded 1 point for each rider in the class, minus 2 with a maximum of 4 points. For example, in a class of 6 riders, 1st place is awarded 6 points, 2nd place is awarded 5 points, 3rd place is awarded 4 points and so on.
